What We Do

  • What We Treat

At Ion Health, we help manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions from repetitive strain injuries like tendinopathies (e.g. tennis elbow), to disc herniations, and everything in between.

Spending long hours at a desk and feeling the effects in your neck or back?
Working a physical trade and tired of ongoing lower back pain?
An active individual or athlete recovering from an injury or looking to improve physical performance?

Whatever your situation, we're here to support you. Let’s work together to reduce pain, restore movement, and help you get back to doing what you love at your best.

  • How We Diagnose

At Ion Health, diagnosis begins with a thorough assessment using precise musculoskeletal testing and skilled palpation to identify the root cause of your symptoms. When appropriate, we may refer for medical imaging, such as X-ray, ultrasound, or MRI to complement our findings and ensure a comprehensive understanding of your condition. We’re committed to delivering clear, confident diagnoses through a careful and methodical approach, always prioritising your health and peace of mind.

  • How We Treat

At Ion Health, we use a tailored combination of osteopathic techniques to support your recovery and overall wellbeing. Treatments may include methods such as High-Velocity Low-Amplitude (HVLA) adjustments, Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), and Myofascial Release, alongside adjunctive therapies like dry needling and electrotherapy. We also provide individualised exercise programs, not only to help rehabilitate current injuries, but to reduce the risk of future ones. Your comfort is always a priority, and we take great care in selecting the most appropriate techniques for your condition, ensuring treatment is effective, gentle, and suited to your needs.
